“Among all Dhanas (charity) Annadhana (feeding food) is the best to attain moksha (eternal bliss) say the divine scriptures.”

The Upanishads declare that Life Vayi Pranaha). Even Lord Krishna, in Bhagawath Gita is to have said that all beings evolved from food (Annam Bhavanthi Bhuthani).

If food is so important for sustenance, than the food grains producing farmer is most important.

Ever since Indus Valley Civilization, India has been dependant on the agrarian economy. It may be noted that from 70% of the population thriving on farming, since ages, today it is merely 10% still taking up this enterprise.

The advent of modern forms of economy and the cumbersome hard work involved have reduced the number of people opting for farming. In addition to this even nature had been a spoil sport in decimating this profession.

The drastic increases in prices of the inputs, lack of labor and unpredictable output have had a negative impact on this agricultural industry.

Pathetic situation has arisen in our nation that a doctor wants his son to be a doctor…. an engineer wants his son to be an engineer….however a farmer does not wish his son to be a farmer, again.

At this rate if things proceed than we might reach a situation where food grains would cost us a few thousands even for our consumption.

……the panic button is already on….be alert……………feel it….react today…..

To save ourselves from a drastic disaster let us all unite to raise our voices, “SAVE FARMER….SAVE WORLD”
